Systems we replace and install

Each starts with a home visit and a load calculation. The signs below are the usual reasons people call.

  • Central air conditioners and heat pumps

A matched indoor coil and outdoor unit, with the pad, line set, disconnect and drain checked or replaced.

    • The system is over 12 years old

    • Repairs keep adding up

    • Some rooms never cool down

    • It still uses an older refrigerant

  • Gas furnaces

A furnace sized to the house, with the venting and gas connection checked. If a carbon monoxide alarm sounds, leave the house and call 911 before you call us.

    • The furnace is over 15 years old

    • It cycles on and off quickly

    • Rooms heat unevenly

  • Ductless mini-splits

One outdoor unit and one or more wall units, for rooms the ducts don't serve.

    • An addition or garage room with no ducts

    • A sunroom that is hot all afternoon

  • Ductwork

Attic ducts tested for leaks, then sealed, resized or replaced.

    • High summer bills with a newer system

    • A hot room at the end of a long run

    • Dust at the registers

  • Thermostats and filters

A thermostat that suits your system, and a filter upgrade where your system can handle one. A filter is not an air cleaner, and we say plainly which you need.

    • The thermostat is hard to use

    • The filter slot is tight or the system strains

  • Tune-ups for systems we install

A spring and fall check, so the system we installed keeps running the way it was set up.

    • Spring, before the first hot week

    • Fall, before the first cold snap

Not sure which system you have?

Text us a photo of the label on the outdoor unit and we'll tell you what it is.
